그린랜더스 소풍가는 날

드디어 그린랜드 가족들 다함께 야외로 나갔다~ Yeah~~

날씨는 완벽했고, 시원한 바람은 적절했고, 바다와 공원으로 구성된 풍경화속으로 들어온 느낌이었다. 오랫만에 야외로 나와서 그런지 모두들 기분이 좋아 잘 먹고 잘 놀며 아주 즐겁고 행복한 시간이었다.

우리들의 자녀들은 바다를 배경으로 하고 있는 배구코트에서 8명이 한 팀이 되어 게임을 하고 있었고, 곳곳에서 삼삼오오 이야기 꽃과 웃음꽃이 활짝 피었고, 한 권사님 가정은 자녀들과 손주들과 조카들까지 함께하여 보기만 해도 행복하고 사진을 찍지 않을 수 없는 모습이었다.

역시, 교회밖에서의 만남과 교제는 또 새로운 다이내믹을 일으킴을 발견할 수 있었다. 테이블을 옮기고, 음식을 가져오고, 음료수를 챙겨주고, 고기를 굽고, 햄버거를 챙겨주는 등 아주 다양한 섬김과 돌봄의 모습을 보면서 이런 찐가족의 모습이 지속적으로 나타나는 하나님의 가족이 되기를 소망하는 기도를 올려드렸다. 이 그린랜드 공동체를 통해 이런 하나님나라의 유익을 함께 누리는 삶이 되기를 간절히 소망하며 기도한다.

Greenlanders’ Picnic Day

At last, our Greenland family went outdoors together!

The weather was perfect, the breeze was refreshing, and it felt as if we had stepped into a beautiful landscape painting with the sea and the park surrounding us. Perhaps because it had been so long since we’d all been outdoors together, everyone seemed joyful—eating well, playing well, and enjoying such a happy time.

Our children played volleyball on a court set against the backdrop of the ocean, with teams of eight competing with laughter and energy. All around, groups gathered in conversation, sharing smiles and joy. One family even came with children, grandchildren, and nieces and nephews—it was such a heartwarming sight that we couldn’t help but capture it in photos.

Once again, I was reminded that fellowship outside the church building creates a new kind of dynamic. Moving tables, bringing food, serving drinks, grilling meat, and preparing hamburgers—all these simple acts of care and service revealed the beauty of a true family in Christ. I lifted up a prayer that such genuine family love would continue to flourish in our Greenland community. Through this fellowship, may we experience the blessings of God’s Kingdom together in everyday life.
