Last Friday, as the prayer meeting was coming to an end, I heard some commotion in the church lobby. Curious about what was happening, I went out to check and found that a family who had once been part of the Greenland Church had returned. Everyone was so happy to see each other, they didn’t even mind interrupting the prayer time! It was like a reunion of separated families, with everyone excitedly greeting each other. I sincerely pray that Greenland Church continues to grow with such joyful and welcoming relationships.
Wow! Casey Phair! – the youngest member of the South Korea Women’s National Football Team!
Another surprising question someone asked me was, “Do you know Casey Phair?” Honestly, I didn’t know. So, when I got home, I quickly searched online and found out that she’s the youngest player ever to play for the South Korea Women’s National Football Team at 16 years old!!! Wait, a national team player??? And a striker!!! As someone who watches football every Sunday afternoon, it felt like I had met a celebrity! What’s more, she made history by being the youngest player to score a hat-trick for the national team, male or female!!! Wow!!!
Today, I had my picture taken with Casey Phair, the youngest player on the South Korea Women’s National Football Team! Haha, Casey, let’s hang out more while you’re here~ I’ll treat you to something delicious~ Haha!

지난 금요일기도회를 마칠 쯤 교회로비에서 씨끌벅적한 소리가 들렸다. 무슨 일인가 하고 갔더니 예전에 그린랜드에서 함께 신앙생활하던 집사님가정이 돌아왔던 것이다. 어찌나 서로들을 반가워하던지 기도중인 사람(?)을 개의치않고? 거의 이산가족이 상봉하듯이 모두들 흥분하여 반갑게 맞이하는 것이었다. 소망하기는 그린랜드에 이렇게 즐겁고 반가운 관계들이 풍성해지길 기도한다.
Wow! 케이시 유진 페어 – “대한민국 여자축구 최연소 국가대표선수 – 스트라이커”
나에게 물어온 또 하나의 놀라운 질문은 “케이시 페어 모르세요?” 라는 질문이었다. 미안하지만 솔직히 몰랐다… 그래서 집에와서 열심히 인터넷을 찾아보니 대한민국 여자축구 최연소 국가대표 선수였다!!! 앗 국대 축구선수??? 심지어, 스트라이커!!! 주일오후마다 축구를 보고 있는 나에게는 완전 연예인을 만난 느낌이었다! 게다가 남여 통틀어서 가장 어린나이에 해트트릭을 한 국대다!!! 와우!!!
오늘 난 대한민국 여자축구 최연소 국가대표선수 , Casey Phair 와 사진을 찍었다 ㅎㅎㅎ Casey 여기에 있는 동안 자주 보자~ 내가 맛있는거 사줄께~ ㅎㅎㅎ
