The Children of Our Greenland Church Offered a Special Performance (8/10/2025, 10:30am)
“에포케!!!”
오늘은 우리 그린랜드의 자녀들이 특주를 했다.
처음에 주보에 나온 제목을 보고 _‘아이들이 연주하기에 너무 옛날 찬양이 아닌가?’_ 라는 생각이 들었다. 그런데 차분하게 시작되는 피아노 전주를 들으며 하나님을 향한 이들의 정성스러운 마음이 느껴지기 시작했다.
역시 플룻과 클라리넷이 함께 합주하는 순간도 악기소리에 담긴 이들의 정성스럽게 올려드리는 예배의 마음을 느낄 수 있었다. 선입견으로 생각했던 내 자신을 반성하며, 보이지 않는 정성스러운 마음을 느끼기 전까지는 판단하지 말아야 함을 다시금 깨닫는다.

Today, the children of our Greenland church offered a special performance.
When I first saw the title in the bulletin, I thought, _“Isn’t this hymn a bit too old-fashioned for the kids to play?”_ But as the gentle piano prelude began, I started to sense their sincere hearts being lifted toward God.
When the flute and clarinet joined in, I could feel, through the sound of the instruments, the heartfelt worship they were offering. I reflected on my own initial prejudice and realized once again: we should never judge before we have truly felt the sincerity that cannot be seen.
