From early morning, the rain began to fall. And I must admit—I had a faithless thought: Even if today ends up just being a happy time for our Greenland family, that will be enough.

But I was quickly humbled. At 9:30 a.m.—a full 30 minutes before our official opening—the first guests, an American couple, arrived with radiant smiles and a video camera in hand, excitedly capturing the Korean atmosphere. That moment sparked joy in the faces of our Greenland volunteers. From then on, the true opening began.

One of our parking volunteers shared that at first, they tried to count the cars entering—but after three hours of constant flow, they gave up. In this weather Where did all these people hear about the Korean Festival?

Even our visitors were amazed. Many said they had no idea there were so many Koreans in the area—or that so many people were interested in Korean culture. Their surprise became our joy.

Heartfelt thanks to the NAICFM for the energetic Nanta and graceful fan dance, and to Master Sunwoo Park and Davis Martin for the Taekwondo demonstrations. Their performances truly transformed the Korean Festival into a vibrant celebration.

And none of this would have been possible without our Greenland family and their friends—those who gave their time, money, energy, and talents, both seen and unseen, with all their heart, sincerity, and strength.

It was a beautiful and overwhelmingly joyful day when we experienced the power of God working through the power of Greenland. We tasted the full depth of the truth of Romans 8:28:

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him.”

God, we thank You—truly and deeply.
