Membership Service – The Best Part of My Life as a Pastor

As a pastor, some of the happiest moments come when someone who has lived without knowing Jesus decides to make Him the Lord of their life and be baptized – <Baptism Service>. Another joyful moment is when someone new chooses to become part of the church family, expressing their desire to grow in faith alongside us – <Membership Service>. Today is one of those days—a day when we welcome a family who wishes to join us in their walk of faith at Greenland Church. Today, Frank and Mina Puopolo officially become part of the Greenland family. Yeah~~~

The First Fruits

Since starting worship services in July, Frank and Mina have faithfully participated in our Bible study meetings starting in September, engaging deeply with meditation and sharing each week. They travel 40 minutes every week to attend our Sunday services, Monday Bible study, and Thursday Bible study. Their passion for God’s Word is something that words can hardly express. So when we asked if they would like to become official members of the church, they eagerly responded, “Yes! Absolutely!” Yeah~~ This is the first spiritual fruit since I started my ministry here at Greenland, just five months ago.

새가족환영 – 목사에게 가장 행복한 순간

목사에게 가장 행복한 순간은 예수님을 모르고 살다가 예수님을 인생의 주인으로 모시고 살겠다고 결심하여 세례를 주는 순간과 나와 함께 신앙생활하고 싶다는 새가족이 등록하는 순간이다. 오늘이 바로 그린랜드에서 함께 신앙생활하기를 원한다는 한 가정을 환영하는 새가족환영식을 아는 날이다. 바로 오늘 Frank and Mina Puopolo가 공식적으로 그린랜드가족이 되는 날이다. Yeah~~~

첫 열매

지난 7월부터 예배를 드리기 시작했고 지난 9월부터 성경공부모임에 성실하게 참여하며 매주 묵상과 나눔을 풍성하게 해왔다. 40여분 걸리는 집와 교회를 매주 주일예배와 월요성경공부와 목요성경공부에 참여하신다. 하나님의 말씀에 대한 이 열정은 사람의 말로 표현하기 어렵다. 그래서 우리 교회의 공식적인 멤버가 되시겠냐는 질문을 드렸더니 흔쾌히 “Yes! Absolutely!”라고 대답하셨다! Yeah~~ 그린랜드에 부임한 이후의 5개월 만의 첫 열매이다.
