교회의 비전은 모든 인종이 함께하는 이중 언어 다민족 교회입니다. 지도자 양육, 다음 세대 양육, 지역사회 돌봄, 세계 선교를 네 방향으로 삼습니다.The church's vision is a bilingual, multi-ethnic congregation for people from all walks of life, with four directions: raising leaders, raising the next generation, caring for the local community and world mission.

들어가는 말에서 한상신 목사는 28년째 한 교회를 섬긴 감사를 고백합니다. 교인의 절반은 정착한 이민자이고 절반은 유학생과 주재원이라, 떠나는 교인을 하나님 나라로 '파송'하는 마음으로 보낸다고 말합니다.In the foreword Rev. Sang-Shin Han gives thanks for 28 years in one church. Half the members are settled immigrants and half are students and short-term residents, so he sends those who leave as if "sending them out" for God's kingdom.

I. 역사 속의 그린랜드 교회 30년I. Thirty years in history

한상신 목사의 회고는 30년을 세 시기로 나눕니다. 과도기(1982–1991)에는 빌린 교회에서 예배하며 기지 폐쇄의 위기를 넘겼습니다. 성장기(1992–2001)에는 대지를 마련하고 성전을 지었고, 성숙기(2002–2012)에는 선교를 넓혔습니다.Rev. Han's look back divides the 30 years into three periods: a transitional period (1982–91) of borrowed space and the crisis of the base closing, a period of growth (1992–2001) when the land was bought and the church built, and a period of maturity (2002–12) when mission widened.

성전 건축은 5년의 기도로 준비했습니다. 두 번의 타운 공청회 끝에 허가를 받았고, 교인들의 희생 헌금과 한국 교회들의 도움으로 1998년에 완공했습니다. 1차 공사 계획은 약 70만 6천 달러였습니다.The building was prepared with five years of prayer, approved after two town hearings, and finished in 1998 with members' sacrificial gifts and help from churches in Korea; the first-phase plan was about $706,400.

II. 뉴햄프셔 주와 그린랜드 교회II. New Hampshire and the church

뉴햄프셔와 그린랜드 타운의 역사를 소개합니다. 박선우 한인회장은 1905년 포츠머스 조약에서 시작된 한국과의 인연, Pease 기지를 통한 한인 정착, 1998년 뉴햄프셔 한인회 창립을 정리합니다. 그 한가운데에 뉴햄프셔 최초의 한인교회인 이 교회가 있었다고 씁니다.An introduction to New Hampshire and the town of Greenland. Sun Woo Park, president of the Korean-American Society of New Hampshire, traces Korea's ties with the state from the 1905 Treaty of Portsmouth, the Korean families who came through Pease Air Force Base, and the society founded in 1998, with this church, the state's first Korean church, at the center.

III. 그린랜드 교회의 다문화 사역III. Multicultural ministry

Dover St. John's 교회 담임이던 Dan Weaver 목사는 처음에 교회 건물을 빌려주었고, 은퇴 후 2004년부터 협동목사로 섬기게 된 이야기를 전합니다. 영어 사역은 2000년 첫 영어예배에서 시작해 지금의 한·영 공동예배로 자리 잡았습니다.Rev. Dan Weaver tells how, as pastor of St. John's in Dover, he first lent the church a home and, after retiring, served it as associate pastor from 2004. The English ministry began with the first English service in 2000 and grew into today's joint Korean-English worship.

여성 목회자와 평신도 지도자에게 차별 없는 기회를 준 교회(임미순 목사)를 다룹니다. 청소년부의 여섯 가지 사역과, 1989년에 시작해 2005년 다시 문을 연 한국학교 이야기(김수진 집사)도 담겨 있습니다.Also here: a church that gave women clergy and lay leaders equal opportunity (Rev. Dr. Mi Soon Im), the youth ministry's six programs, and the Korean School, begun in 1989 and reopened in 2005 (Soojin Stickney).

IV. 나눔의 장IV. Sharing

교인들의 간증 여섯 편이 실려 있습니다. 교회를 '마음의 고향'이라 부르는 헌시, 부모님을 주님께 인도한 이야기, 성가대의 기쁨이 있습니다. 한국에서 입양한 두 아들과 함께 이 교회에서 하나님께 돌아온 가정, 사랑의 공동체 이야기, 청소년부에서 자라 봉사의 길로 나선 청년의 이야기도 있습니다.Six testimonies: a poem calling the church "home to my heart", leading one's parents to faith, the joy of the choir, a family who came back to God here with their two sons adopted from Korea, the church as a loving family, and a young man raised in the youth group who went on to a year of service.

30년 회고 좌담회에서는 기지 안에서의 시작, 빌린 교회 시절의 서러움, 땅을 사고 성전을 짓기까지의 기억을 나눕니다. 다음 세대를 위한 예배, 서로 간의 소통, 위원회 활성화에 대한 바람도 나옵니다.In the round-table, early members recall the start on the base, the hard years in a borrowed church and the road to buying land and building, and voice hopes for worship that reaches the next generation, better communication and active committees.

V. 선교하는 그린랜드 교회V. A church in mission

1985년에 시작한 여선교회의 섬김과, 1987년에 시작해 미주리 주 St. Louis에 '평화의 집'을 짓고 있는 국제결혼가정 선교회 이야기가 있습니다. 팔레스타인·이스라엘 단기선교 간증도 실려 있습니다.The United Methodist Women's service since 1985, the National Association of Inter-Cultural Family Mission (begun 1987, building a "House of Peace" in St. Louis, Missouri), and a testimony from a short-term mission to Palestine and Israel.

해외 선교 보고는 다음과 같은 일을 정리합니다.The overseas mission report covers the following.

Han's biography, and the Northeastern Jurisdiction Korean Mission, which planted 66 churches in 25 years.
