Having someone who walks with you in the same mindset, with the same purpose, and in the same direction is truly a blessing. Especially in this era where everything is shifting to digital, and face-to-face interactions are becoming less frequent, having people to meet with weekly, to share live conversations while seeing their expressions, movements, and hearing their voices is an emotional, spiritual, and mental gift. Here in Greenland, there are people who find joy in walking together in the Word.
Today, we had a special gathering at Sue Baker’s business, Sue's Korean Kitchen to share the Word, enjoy delicious food, and exchange life stories. Perhaps because we were meeting outside the church, we were able to express more gratitude towards one another and reflect on the significance of our Friday Coram Deo gatherings, making it a warm and heartwarming time. Maybe this is why we need to go on outings like this from time to time! 😊
We also enjoyed a full-course meal lovingly prepared by Sue Baker, starting with bellflower root tea, followed by a salad appetizer, rare gondre rice (cirsium rice) in America, and finishing with green tea waffles for dessert. The elegant and thoughtful Korean food presentation was stunning and perfectly set the tone for our Coram Deo time together. 😊 We pray that Sue’s new dream and vision, now in its final stages of preparation, will bear beautiful and abundant fruit under God’s guidance.
Dear Sue, thank you for allowing us to use your precious space for our gathering and for treating us to such a delicious full-course Korean meal that’s hard to find in America. We pray that you will experience more of God’s grace and blessings through your new business venture!
<행복한 동행>
같은 마음, 같은 뜻, 같은 방향으로 함께 걷는 사람이 있다는 것은 정말 행복한 일이다. 특별히 요즘처럼 모든 것이 디지털로 변화되어가 대면하여 만나는 일이 줄어들고 있는 시대에, 일주일에 한 번 씩 만나서 표정과 움직임과 목소리를 라이브로 들으며 대화할 수 있는 사람들이 있다는 것은 감정적으로 정서적으로 영적으로 큰 선물임을 깨닫는다. 바로 여기에 그린랜드에 말씀과 함께 동행하는 것을 기뻐하는 사람들이 있다.
<새로운 시작, 새로운 꿈>
오늘은 특별하게 <새로운 시작>을 준비하시는 손순자권사님 사업장 에서 말씀도 나누고, 음식도 나누고, 삶을 나누는 시간을 가졌다. 교회가 아닌 다른 장소에 와서 그런지 그동안 서로에게 감사했던 이야기들도 풍성하게 나누며 금요일 <코람데오> 시간이 각 자에게 어떤 의미를 주었는지 나누며 마음이 따뜻해지는 시간이 되었다. 이래서 가끔 <아웃팅>을 나가야 하나보다 ㅎㅎ

또한 오늘은 손순자권사님의 사랑과 정성이 가득한 도라지차부터 샐러드 애피타이저, 미국에서 귀하고도 귀한 곤드레밥과 그린티와플 디저트까지 완전 풀코스로 점심을 먹었다. 깔끔한 디자인의 Korean Food Class 셋팅이 아주 멋지게 준비되었다. 물론 우리가 모여서 <코람데오> 시간을 갖기에도 완벽하다!!! ㅎㅎㅎ 이제 마무리단계에 있는 손순자권사님의 새로운 꿈과 비전이 하나님의 인도하심에 따라 아름답고 풍성한 열매들을 맺기를 소망하며 기도한다.
권사님, 귀한 공간에서 저희 모임을 할 수 있도록 내어주셔서 감사하고, 미국에서 먹기 힘든 풀코드 한식도 너무 너무 맛있게 먹었습니다. 새롭게 시작되는 사업장에서 또 다른 하나님의 은혜의 역사를 경험하시길 소망하며 기도합니다~
