The Joy of Serving Together
It is a beautiful thing to have people with whom you can share the same heart, spend time together, and rejoice over shared moments.
There’s joy in sitting in a cozy place, enjoying good food, and talking about life. Yet there’s also something deeply meaningful about working side by side—fixing a car, lending a hand, and sharing stories in between. Those moments, though ordinary, bring out the _different flavors of life._
As we approach our third year together, the UMPAC Team has become more than a group—it’s becoming a family. Lying under cars, searching for tools, cleaning up spilled oil—all these small things feel like tiny puzzle pieces that make up the bigger picture of our lives together.
Under the hot sun, setting up tents, disposing of old oil, and cleaning piles of trash might seem tedious, but even in those moments, we discover the _taste of life_ that comes from knowing and understanding one another through shared effort. When these inconvenient, tiring moments are shared not for ourselves but for one another, a special kind of joy quietly finds its way in.
I hope that the hours we spent sweating and laughing under the bright sun will remain as one of the most joyful memories in our journey of life.

동역의 기쁨
무엇인가를 같은 마음으로 같은 시간을 보내며 기뻐할 수 있는 사람들이 있다는 것은 정말 행복한 일이다. 분위기 좋은 곳에서 맛있는 음식을 먹으며 삶의 이야기를 나눌 수 있는 사람도 너무 좋고, 때로는 몸은 좀 힘들지만 차를 고치며 이런 저런 이야기를 나누는 것도 <인생의 다양한 맛>으로 채워주는 시간임을 느끼게 된다.
어느새 3년이 되어가는 UMPAC Team도 이제 점점 더 자연스러워지고 또 다른 가족이 되어간다. 바닥에 눕기도 하고, 차 밑에 들어가기도 하고, 필요한 장비를 찾아주기도 하고, 기름이 흐르면 닦아주는 시간도 모두 우리 인생의 큰 퍼즐을 채워가는 작은 조각 처럼 느껴진다.
뜨거운 햇빛아래에서 텐트도 치고, 폐유를 버려야 하고, 더 많은 쓰레기들을 치워야 하는 번거로움도 있지만, 인생에 이런 원래 좀 번거로운 일들도 하며 서로를 알아가는 맛이 있는 것이 <인생의 맛>을 더욱 감칠나게 함을 느낀다. 귀찮고도 번거로운 이 일들을 나만을 위한 시간이 아니라 서로를 위한 시간으로 공유할 때 뭔가 평범하지 않은 즐거움이 슬쩍 찾아온다.
뜨거운 햇볕아래에서 뒹굴었던 이 시간이 우리 인생의 즐거운 추억으로 새겨지길 소망해봅니다~ 함께 해서 즐거웠습니다~
