What a Wonderful Tradition in Myung Kim’s Family!

Every family has its own unique and beautiful traditions. Whether it’s the tradition of giving gifts at Christmas, gathering as a family to worship and give thanks to God on Thanksgiving, or going on an annual camping trip, each family cherishes its own special customs. These traditions are more than routines—they become precious memories and legacies that define and unite the family in a profound way.
Today, I had the privilege of meeting Kim's Family, who uphold the heartfelt tradition of serving lunch to all the families at Greenland Church once a year. Their dedication to serving the family of Christ reflects how deeply they honor God and value His people. I pray that more godly families who glorify and serve the Lord with such devotion will continue to rise and bless the community.
모든 가정에는 고유한 아름다움이 담긴 특별한 전통이 있습니다. 크리스마스에 사랑을 담아 선물을 주는 전통, 추수감사절에 온 가족이 모여 하나님께 감사를 드리는 예배, 혹은 매년 한 번 온 가족이 함께 떠나는 캠핑 등, 각 가정은 그들만의 따뜻하고 소중한 전통을 지니고 있습니다. 이러한 전통은 단순한 관습을 넘어, 그 가족만의 특별한 추억과 유산이 되며, 가족을 더욱 하나 되게 하는 귀한 특징이 됩니다.
오늘은 매년 한 번, 그린랜드교회의 모든 가족들에게 점심을 대접하는 아름다운 전통을 이어가고 있는 Kim's Family를 만났습니다. 예수 그리스도의 몸 된 교회의 가족들을 섬기는 이들의 전통은 하나님을 얼마나 깊이 사랑하고 그분의 가족들을 얼마나 귀하게 여기는지 느끼게 해줍니다. 이처럼 하나님을 온전히 높이고 섬기는 거룩한 하나님의 가정들이 더욱 많아지기를 진심으로 기도합니다.
