<찐 인간승리>

7:00 AM, Boston Logan Airport
Finally. Finally. We’re on the plane!!! Yes!!!
Our original Monday departure for the Dominican Republic mission (DR Mission) was pushed to Tuesday because of a snowstorm… then moved again… and then, after yet another major storm, rescheduled to Thursday.
With so many flights canceled, it became almost impossible to reach the airline. I lost count of how many times I thought we might have to give up.
But thanks to Deacon Sujin Kim, who patiently and meticulously worked through everything step by step to the very end, we were finally able to secure a Thursday departure.
This was a true moment of victory through perseverance.
At 3:00 AM on Thursday, February 26, we gathered at three different locations and traveled in three separate vehicles. All ten large shared suitcases were loaded into a truck and met us at Boston Logan Airport.
Everyone arrived safely. We greeted one another with such excitement that anyone watching might have thought we were a long-separated family being reunited.
After checking in 11 shared bags, we carried 14 personal bags through security and headed toward the gate.
Due to my mistake in entering personal information, Bokmi Oh and Deacon Dahae Kim experienced some inconvenience. I am deeply grateful for their gracious understanding—and I sincerely apologize again for the trouble caused by my error.
Early in the morning, a surprise appeared for our team’s breakfast. Aaron’s mother and Deacon Somi Lim had prepared homemade triangular kimbap before dawn. (Thank you so much!)
Once the kimbap came out, it was followed by eggs, vitamin powder, red ginseng extract, pear juice packs, and more—one after another.
When you travel with church mothers, there is absolutely no need to worry about food. Not even 1%.
And then there was Kimi, who generously bought that overpriced airport Starbucks water. The way everyone cared for and served one another—if this isn’t first-class love, calling it second would be seriously unfair.
Thank you, thank you, thank you—everyone.
With full hearts and even fuller stomachs, we finally boarded the plane and took off.
Fourteen of us ate that much… I wonder if the plane will still fly properly?

and off we go to the Dominican Republic! ✈️
