"말씀하옵소서 주의 종이 듣겠나이다" [사무엘상 3:10]
비전트립을 떠나기 전, 우리는 많은 기대와 계획으로 마음이 가득 차 있을 수 있습니다. '이런 것을 배우고 싶다', '저런 것을 보고 싶다', '이렇게 도움이 되고 싶다'는 생각들로 말입니다.
하지만 가득 찬 그릇에는 더 이상 새로운 것을 담을 수 없습니다.
어린 사무엘은 하나님의 음성을 처음 들었을 때, 그것이 하나님의 음성인지조차 알지 못했습니다. 하지만 그는 "말씀하옵소서, 주의 종이 듣겠나이다"라는 열린 마음으로 응답했습니다. 이것이 바로 하나님께서 사용하시는 사람의 자세입니다.
우리가 이번 비전트립에서 진정으로 준비해야 할 것은 짐이 아니라 마음입니다. 내 생각과 계획을 내려놓고, 하나님께서 보여주시고자 하는 것을 받아들일 준비된 마음 말입니다.
가르치려 가는 것이 아니라 배우려 가는 마음, 평가하려 가는 것이 아니라 경험하려 가는 마음, 주려고만 하는 것이 아니라 받을 준비가 된 마음으로 이번 여정을 시작하면, 하나님께서는 우리가 상상하지 못했던 방식으로 우리의 비전을 형성해 가실 것입니다.
이번 비전트립 동안 우리 각자의 마음이 비워지고 열려서, 하나님께서 주시는 새로운 깨달음과 방향을 온전히 받아들일 수 있기를 기도합니다.

"Speak, for your servant is listening." [1 Samuel 3:10]
Before we embark on this vision trip, our hearts may be filled with many expectations and plans—thoughts like "I want to learn this," "I want to see that," or "I want to help in this way." But a full cup cannot receive anything new.
When young Samuel first heard God's voice, he didn't even recognize it as God speaking. Yet he responded with an open heart: "Speak, for your servant is listening." This is the posture of a person God can use.
What we truly need to prepare for this vision trip is not our luggage, but our hearts. We need hearts that are ready to let go of our own thoughts and plans, and to receive what God wants to show us.
We are not going to teach, but to learn. Not to evaluate, but to experience. Not only to give, but to be ready to receive. When we begin this journey with such a heart, God will shape our vision in ways we could never have imagined.
Throughout this vision trip, I pray that each of our hearts may be emptied and opened, so that we can fully receive the new insights and direction that God has prepared for us.
