(D-2 again / February 22, 2026 / 주일)
오늘이 원래 D-1 인데, 하루가 늦어져서 D-2가 되었네요.
기도할 수 있는 시간이 늘어나서 감사하고, 위험하게 눈길을 가지 않아도 되서 감사하고 있습니다. 하루 늦게가지만 2박 3일을 3박 4일처럼 보내고 오면 되니까요~ gg 어떻게 하면 좀 더 즐겁고, 의미있게 보낼 수 있을까 좀 더 열심히(?) 고민하게 되었습니다. 여러분들도 우리가 어떻게 더 의미있는 시간을 보낼 수 있을까 더 많이 생각해주시구요. 지금은 알 수 없지만, 3박 4일에서 2박 3일로 가게된 이유와 유익을 깨닫는 순간이 올 것을 믿습니다!
오늘은 일명 <단기선교사 파송주일>입니다.
2박 3일이 아주 짧은 기간이지만, 우리의 시간과 일터와 관계를 내려놓고, 오롯이 하나님의 선교를 위해 드리는 시간입니다. 그래서 저는 이번에 가시는 분들을 '단기선교사'라고 감히 부르고 싶습니다. 자신의 일상에서 시간과 공간과 에너지와 열정과 관계를 내려놓고 하나님의 선교에 올인하는 연습은 우리의 남은 생에 거룩한 영양분이 될 것을 믿기 때문입니다. 작은 선택과 결단이 인생의 큰 위기와 결단의 순간에 큰 영향력을 끼칠 수 있기 때문입니다. 다시 한 번 2박3일을 가지만, 3박 4일을 헌신하여 하나님의 선교에 드리는 여러분들을 진심으로 축복하며 기도합니다!!!
<함께하는 선교: 가거나 보내거나>
우리들은 일상을 떠나서 하나님의 선교에 오롯이 동참하고, 집에 있는 그린랜드 가족들은 저희들을 위해서 기도로 동역할 것입니다. 이미 물품과 헌금 등 다양한 방법으로 동참하신 동역자들이 있습니다. 저는 이분들을 'Mission Partner / Coworkers of God 하나님의 동역자'라고 부릅니다. 여러가지 이유로 동행하지는 못하지만 다양한 방법으로 동역하고 있기 때문입니다. 그래서 이번에 Mission Partners로 동역하시는 분들께도 함께 해주셔서 감사하다고 마음을 담아 인사하면 좋겠습니다. 가능하다면 현지에서 엽서를 구입하여 돌아오는 비행기에서 그분들께 감사의 마음을 담아 작은 엽서편지를 써도 좋을 것 같습니다.
그럼, 오늘 주일예배때 모두 참석해주시구요. 설교후 결단찬양시간에 모두 앞으로 나올 준비하고 오시기 바랍니다~ 곧 봽겠습니다~
(D-2 again/ February 22, 2026 / Sunday)
Today was originally supposed to be D-1, but it got pushed back a day, so it's now D-2.
I'm thankful for the extra time to pray, and thankful I don't have to risk driving on icy roads. Even though we're a day late, we can make the 2-night, 3-day trip feel like 3 nights and 4 days~ gg This has made me think harder(?) about how we can make it more enjoyable and meaningful. Please also think deeply about how we can spend this time more meaningfully. Though we don't know it yet, I believe the moment will come when we understand the reason and benefit of this change from 3 nights and 4 days to 2 nights and 3 days!
Today is what we call <Short-Term Missionary Sending Sunday>.
Though 2 nights and 3 days is a very short period, it's a time when we lay down our schedules, workplaces, and relationships to dedicate ourselves wholly to God's mission. That's why I dare to call those going this time 'short-term missionaries'. Because I believe that practicing setting aside time, space, energy, passion, and relationships from our daily lives to fully commit to God's mission will become holy nourishment for the rest of our lives. Because small choices and decisions can have a huge impact during life's major crises and moments of decision. Once again, I sincerely bless and pray for all of you who are dedicating yourselves to God's mission for 3 nights and 4 days, even though you are going for 2 nights and 3 days!!!
<Mission Together: Go or Send>
We will leave our daily lives to fully participate in God's mission, and the Greenland family at home will partner with us in prayer. There are already partners who have joined in various ways, such as through goods and offerings. I call these individuals 'Mission Partners / Coworkers of God'. This is because, though they cannot accompany us for various reasons, they are partnering in diverse ways. Therefore, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to those serving as Mission Partners this time. If possible, it would be nice to purchase postcards locally and write a small thank-you note to them on the flight back.
