Abundant Life – The VeryAbundant Life – The Very Purpose of Christ's Coming
“Abundant life” is the very reason Jesus came to this earth.
He Himself declared that He came so that we might have life—and have it more abundantly (John 10:10).
Then how can we live such an abundant life?
We experience the fullness of life when we live with meaning and when our lives produce lasting value. But not just any meaning or value—true abundance is found in what is eternal and unchanging. It’s not the shifting values of time, culture, or place, but the unchanging truth of God’s Word that brings richness to life, now and forever.
Therefore, we live most abundantly when our lives reflect the eternal truth and the unchanging values of God’s Word. This is the very purpose of Jesus’ coming—to reveal the heart of the Father and to invite us into a life that is eternally meaningful.
As people called to live for God in this world, may we discover, develop, and maximize the eternal value of God’s Kingdom, so that through our lives, His Kingdom may come on earth as it is in heaven.
[John 10:10, NIV] The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
Today’s Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for leading me to discover the unchanging value of Your Word today. Help me, by the Spirit, to find and share the eternal worth of Your Kingdom each day, so that others may also experience the richness of life in Christ.

<풍성한 삶> 이란 예수님께서 이 땅에 오신 목적이다. 예수님은 우리 모두의 삶이 생명을 얻게 하고 더 풍성히 얻게 하려고 오셨다고 말씀하신다. 그렇다면 우리는 어떻게 풍성한 삶을 살아갈 수 있을까?
우리의 삶이 의미있고 가치가 창출되는 삶을 살아갈 때에 삶의 풍성함을 누린다. 어떤 의미와 가치가 창출될 때 가장 풍성한 삶을 살 수 있을까? 변하지 않는 진리의 의미와 가치가 나타나는 삶이다. 시대와 문화와 지역에 따라 변하는 의미와 가치가 아니라, 이 땅에서뿐만 아니라 영원불변한 의미와 가치가 나타나는 삶이다.
그렇다면 영원불변한 진리와 영원불변한 하나님의 말씀의 의미와 가치가 나타나는 삶을 살아갈 때에 가장 풍성한 삶을 살 수 있다. 이 것이 바로 예수님께서 이 땅에 오신 목적이고, 하나님께서 인간 예수의 모습으로 이 땅에 오신 것이다.
이 땅에서 하나님의 사람으로 살아가는 우리 모두가 이 영원불변한 가치를 발견하고 발전시키고 극대화하여 이 땅에 하나님나라가 임하는 일을 감당할 수 있기를 소망한다.

하나님, 오늘도 하나님의 말씀에 대한 영원불변한 가치를 발견할 수 있도록 인도하시니 감사합니다. 매일 매일 하나님나라의 가치를 발견하여 더 많은 사람들과 나눌 수 있도록 성령으로 인도하여 주옵소서. 예수님의 이름으로 기도드립니다. 아멘.
