God’s People and the Knowledge of Him**
God’s people desire to grow in their knowledge of Him. They long to continually know Him more deeply and intimately. However, the knowledge of God is like a seed. If one remains in mere knowledge, it can become nothing more than an accumulation of information, leading to pride. But when all knowledge is covered with God’s grace through prayer in His presence, He grants wisdom.
This wisdom connects the knowledge of God in a way that brings healing to the wounds and brokenness of a soul, serving as a catalyst for restoring relationships with Him. As we witness God at work in these moments, our spiritual growth and maturity take place.
At times, we may settle for simply knowing about God, but ultimately, we come to realize that true spiritual growth and maturity happen only when we are drenched in the refreshing rain of His grace.
성장과 성숙
하나님의 사람들은 하나님을 알아가는 지식에서 자라가기를 원한다. 지속적으로 하나님을 알아가고 깊어지기를 열망한다. 그러나 하나님을 아는 지식은 씨앗과 같다. 하나님을 알아가는 지식에 머문다면 그저 지식의 축적으로 인하여 교만에 빠질 수 있다. 그러나 하나님의 임재안에서 기도를 통하여 하나님의 은혜로 그 모든 지식들을 덮을 때에 하나님께서 지혜를 주신다. 그 지혜은 하나님을 알아가는 지식들을 연결하여 한 영혼의 아픔과 상처를 치유하고 하나님과의 관계를 회복하는 데에 촉매제로 사용된다. 이렇게 하나님께서 일하시는 현장을 경험하며 우리의 영적인 성장과 성숙이 일어나게 된다. 때로는 하나님을 알아가는 지식으로 만족하는 삶을 살아갈 때도 있지만, 결국 우리의 영적성장과 성숙은 하나님의 은혜의 단비로 적셔질 때에 일어난다는 것을 알게 된다.
