🍁 가을동행 편지 #08 - "그린랜더스 오케스트라"
사랑하는 가을동행 가족 여러분~ 또 다른 수요일 하루가 선물로 도착했습니다~
오늘 수요일에는 어떤 만남과 기회들이 주어질지 기대하는 마음으로 시작하실 수 있기를 소망하며 기도합니다~
🎻 조율
오케스트라 연주회에 가면 연주 직전에 가장 먼저 하는 것이 있습니다. First Violinist가 일어나 A 음을 내면 모든 현악기들이 자신의 악기 기본음을 그 음에 맞춥니다. 그렇게 모든 악기의 기본음을 맞춘 후에 연주해야 아름다운 화음을 낼 수 있기 때문입니다. 무대에 올라오기 전에 연습을 정말 많이 했을텐데도 무대에 올라와서 다시 조율을 하는 것을 보면 이전에 어떤 음에 맞추어서 연습을 했어도 연주직전 같은 음에 맞추는 것이 얼마나 중요한지 다시 생각하게 됩니다.
그리스도의 평강이 너희 마음을 주장하게 하라 너희는 평강을 위하여 한 몸으로 부르심을 받았나니 너희는 또한 감사하는 자가 되라 그리스도의 말씀이 너희 속에 풍성히 거하여 모든 지혜로 피차 가르치며 권면하고 시와 찬송과 신령한 노래를 부르며 감사하는 마음으로 하나님을 찬양하고 또 무엇을 하든지 말에나 일에나 다 주 예수의 이름으로 하고 그를 힘입어 하나님 아버지께 감사하라 (골로새서 3:15-17)
🎶 '하루'라는 연주
우리의 신앙생활도 마찬가지라는 생각을 합니다. 우리 각 자가 많은 만남과 책과 정보들을 매일 매 순간 접하게 될 것입니다. 그리고 각 자의 삶에서 '하루'라는 연주를 매일 아침 시작합니다. 한 사람도 예외없이 하루를 시작합니다. 그렇다면 우리도 우리 인생의 절대음인 '하나님의 말씀'에 우리 각 자 인생의 기본음을 조율하여 맞춘 후에 신실하게 살아가는 하루 하루는 아름다운 연주가 되어 하나님께 아름다운 찬양이 될 줄로 믿습니다.
이 율법책을 네 입에서 떠나지 말게 하며 주야로 그것을 묵상하여 그 안에 기록된 대로 다 지켜 행하라 그리하면 네 길이 평탄하게 될 것이며 네가 형통하리라 (여호수아 1:8)
하나님이여 내 속에 정한 마음을 창조하시고 내 안에 정직한 영을 새롭게 하소서 나를 주 앞에서 쫓아내지 마시며 주의 성령을 내게서 거두지 마소서 주의 구원의 즐거움을 내게 회복시켜 주시고 자원하는 심령을 주사 나를 붙드소서 (시편 51:10-12)
🎵 그린랜더스 오케스트라
특별히 각 자의 삶을 살아가는 그린랜더스들이 매일 아침 자신의 생각과 마음과 영혼을 하나님의 말씀을 묵상하며 조율하며 살아간다면, 살아가는 공간은 다를지라도 각 자의 삶 속에서 내는 자신만의 음악을 연주하여 하나님께서 기뻐받으실 <그린랜더스 오케스트라> 연주곡이 될 것을 상상해봅니다. 그래서 하나님의 교회는 함께 지어져가는 것이라고 말씀하셨나봅니다. 이렇게 우리 모두 각 자가 각 자의 처소에서 성령이 거하실 처소가 되기위하여 그리스도 예수 안에서 함께 지어져가는 교회가 되기를 소망하며 기도합니다.
그러므로 이제부터 너희는 외인도 아니요 나그네도 아니요 오직 성도들과 동일한 시민이요 하나님의 권속이라 너희는 사도들과 선지자들의 터 위에 세우심을 입은 자라 그리스도 예수께서 친히 모퉁잇돌이 되셨느니라 그의 안에서 건물마다 서로 연결하여 주 안에서 성전이 되어 가고 너희도 성령 안에서 하나님이 거하실 처소가 되기 위하여 그리스도 예수 안에서 함께 지어져 가느니라 (에베소서 2:19-22)
🌿 하루를 시작하며...
우리 각자가 매일 아침 하나님의 말씀으로 마음과 영혼을 조율한다면,그 삶의 자리와 환경이 서로 달라도 하나님께 드려지는 한 곡의 아름다운 연주가 됩니다. 그리스도 안에서 우리는 각각 다른 악기를 연주하지만, 성령께서 한 지휘자가 되어 우리를 하나의 하모니로 연결하실 것입니다. 그렇게 우리가 함께 조율되고 세워지는 그린랜드교회는 하나님이 거하실 거룩한 성전이자 하나님 나라에 울려퍼지는 아름다운 그린랜더스 오케스트라연주가 될 것입니다.

🍁 Autumn Journey Letter #08 – “Greenlanders Orchestra”
Dear beloved Autumn Journey family,
Another Wednesday morning has arrived as a precious gift from God. As you begin this day, I pray that you will start with a heart full of expectation for the encounters and opportunities that God has prepared for you.
🎻 Tuning
At every orchestra concert, there’s one thing that always happens before the performance begins. The First Violinist stands and plays the note A, and every string instrument tunes itself to that sound. Only when all the instruments are aligned to the same tone can they produce a beautiful harmony.
Even though each musician has practiced countless hours before stepping on stage, they still take time to tune again before the performance begins. It’s a reminder that no matter how much we’ve prepared or practiced, it’s essential to align ourselves once more before the real music starts.
“Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” (Colossians 3:15–17)
🎶 The Performance Called “A Day”
Our life of faith is much the same. Each day, we are surrounded by countless voices—meetings, books, conversations, and information. And every morning, we begin a new performance called “a day.”
If we tune our lives to the absolute pitch of God’s Word, each day—no matter how ordinary—becomes a faithful, beautiful performance offered up as praise to God.
“Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.” (Joshua 1:8)
“Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.” (Psalm 51:10–12)
🎵 The Greenlanders’ Orchestra
I imagine that when each of us—our Greenland family—tunes our thoughts, hearts, and spirits to God’s Word every morning, then even though we live in different places and circumstances, our lives together become one great “Greenlanders Orchestra” playing a song that delights the heart of God.
This is what it means for the church to be “built together”—to become a spiritual dwelling where the Holy Spirit lives. May we continue to be a church that is being built together in Christ Jesus, so that our community may resound as a beautiful symphony of God’s Kingdom.
“Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit.” (Ephesians 2:19–22)
🌿 Final Reflection
When each of us tunes our hearts and souls every morning to the Word of God, our daily lives—though lived in different places and ways—come together as one beautiful song offered to Him.
In Christ, we each play a different instrument, but the Holy Spirit is the Conductor who brings us into perfect harmony. As we are tuned and built together, Greenland Church becomes a holy temple where God dwells—a divine orchestra whose music fills the Kingdom of God with praise and glory.
