2026년 2월, 우리는 비전트립으로 처음 도미니카공화국을 방문했습니다. 헬렌 선교사님이 섬기시는 아이티 난민 사역 현장에서 아이들과 선생님들, 마을 분들을 만나며 좋은 관계의 첫 단추를 끼웠습니다.
In February 2026, we visited the Dominican Republic for the first time on a vision trip. At the Haitian refugee ministry where Missionary Helen serves, we met the children, the teachers and the people of the villages, and took the first step toward a good relationship.
그 만남은 여행으로 끝나지 않았습니다. "꿈을 잇는 손길" 결연 사역을 통해 우리 교회 가정들이 현지 아이들과 이어졌고, 기도와 사랑이 계속 오가고 있습니다.
That meeting did not end with the trip. Through the "Hands That Connect Dreams" (꿈을 잇는 손길) sponsorship ministry, families of our church were connected with children there, and prayer and love keep going back and forth.
2027년에는 한 걸음 더 나아가 단기선교로 그 땅을 다시 찾아갑니다. 보고 배우는 데서 그치지 않고, 선교사님과 함께 현장을 직접 섬기는 여행입니다.
In 2027 we take one more step and return to that land on a short-term mission trip. We will not stop at seeing and learning; this is a trip to serve on site, side by side with the missionary.

교회에서 떠나는 선교여행에는 두 가지가 있습니다.
A church mission trip comes in two kinds.
비전트립Vision Trip
비전트립은 선교지를 방문하여 선교사님을 통해 그 땅의 상황과 사역을 배우는 여행입니다.
A vision trip visits the mission field to learn, through the missionary, about the land and its ministry.
단기선교Mission Trip
단기선교는 짧은 기간 동안 선교사님과 함께 특정 사역을 직접 돕는 여행입니다.
A short-term mission trip spends a short time working directly with the missionary on a specific ministry.
작년의 비전트립이 듣고 배우는 시간이었다면, 올해의 단기선교는 배운 것을 섬김으로 이어가는 시간입니다.
If last year's vision trip was a time to listen and learn, this year's mission trip is a time to carry what we learned into service.
선교여행의 목적Why We Go
선교현장을 직접 보고 선교사님의 사역을 배우며, 우리가 선교를 위해 할 수 있는 일을 발견합니다. 또한 시간을 구별하여 하나님께 드리며, 하나님이 원하시는 선교의 본질을 깊이 생각합니다. 그리고 나 자신이 어떤 선교적 정체성을 가진 사람인지 깨닫고, 일상의 자리에서 어떻게 선교적인 삶을 살 수 있을지 고민하게 됩니다.
We see the mission field for ourselves, learn from the missionary's work, and discover what we can do for mission. We set apart time and offer it to God, and reflect deeply on the heart of the mission God desires. And we come to see what kind of missional identity we carry, and ask how we can live a missional life in our everyday places.
2027 그린랜더스 단기선교2027 Greenlanders Mission Trip
이번 단기선교는 헬렌 선교사님이 섬기시는 도미니카공화국 아이티 난민 사역지에서 진행됩니다. 지난해 만났던 아이들과 선생님들을 다시 만나고, 그 사이 자라난 사역의 열매를 함께 봅니다.
This mission trip takes place at the Haitian refugee ministry in the Dominican Republic where Missionary Helen serves. We will see again the children and teachers we met last year, and together see the fruit the ministry has grown since.
특히 올해는 현지 청소년들을 위한 Youth Mini Camp를 진행합니다. 찬양과 말씀, 게임과 교제를 통해 아이들에게 하나님의 사랑을 전합니다. 결연 아동이 있는 가정은 아이를 직접 만나 인사하고 교제하는 귀한 시간도 갖게 됩니다.
This year in particular we will hold a Youth Mini Camp for local teenagers, sharing God's love through praise, the Word, games and fellowship. Families who sponsor a child will also have the precious time of meeting, greeting and spending time with their child in person.
단기선교는 함께 준비하는 시간이 중요합니다. 출발 전 준비 모임을 통해 사역 프로그램을 준비하고, 기도로 마음을 모으겠습니다. (준비 모임 일정은 추후 공지합니다.)
Preparing together matters for a mission trip. Before we leave, we will prepare the ministry programs in preparation meetings and gather our hearts in prayer. (The meeting schedule will be announced later.)
